End of Season Update!

We would like to thank all of Richard’s supporters, who attended the “Celebration Of A Successful Season” fund raiser, held at the Balmy Beach Club, in Toronto, on May 7, 2011! The event was very successful and enjoyed by everyone who attended thanks to the many activies taking place throughout the evening! Congratulations goes out to Kelly Rathwell, who was the lucky winner of the raffle for two tickets to see U2 in concert this summer in Toronto. Your continued support for Richard has allowed him to climb the ranks in the Alpine Snowboarding world for the past three years and he is now ranked as the #1 Junior in Canada, 4th overall in Canada and #51 in the World FIS ranking!

Richard will be heading out to Whistler BC and then on to Mammoth, California for a two week training camp, at the end of May to finish up this season. Afterwards he will get a couple of months off before he begins training for next season. His team plans to head to New Zealand in August to commence training for the 2011/2012 season.

Three years to go until the big event, the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, to be held in Sochi Russia! Richard is very much on track to represent you and all of Canada, at the games, due to your support!
